As a highly experienced psychotherapist, I offer a range of skills to many different clients to help them deal with a variety of challenges that are negatively impacting their mental health. I work with young people and adults from age 17 upwards as individuals as well as working with family groups and those in relationships.

I have been accredited by the Association of Family Therapy (AFT) and I am UKCP-registered Systemic and Family Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in the NHS and private practice. I use a compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed approach to my practice.

Couples therapy

When working with couples I support them in many areas including working through co-parenting challenges, rebuilding trust, overcoming communication difficulties and disconnection, addressing repeating conflict areas and the impact of trauma or mental health challenges on a relationship. I am here to support both clients when working through relationship challenges. To find out more about Couples therapy, please visit the link.

Family and systemic therapy

As a qualified and experienced systemic and family psychotherapist I can help those in close relationships to better understand and support each other, enable family members to express and explore difficult thoughts and emotions safely, understand each other’s experiences and views, appreciate each other’s needs, build on family strengths, and work together to make useful changes in their relationships and their lives.

Often our closest relationships are the ones that can lead to most conflict. Family disgreements and communication issues can often have a major impact on not just one, but multiple relations, with ripples extending beyond those you live with. My family therapy services welcome people to come together in an open, safe and non-judgemental space where each member can express themselves whilst being supported by me as a professional family therapist.

Alongside my clinical work, I provide supervision and training to other therapists and mental health practitioners where I contribute to service development and clinical leadership.
