Hello, my name is Sharon and I am an experienced Solution-Focused Hypnotherapist.

I trained and am registered with the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and I am also fully registered with the National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH) and the Association for Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (AfSFH). I work from the Victoria Therapy Centre in Saltaire, Shipley near Bradford and Leeds.

Working with adults from age 18+, my aim is to help my clients to find balance in their lives, so they feel happy and fulfilled. I believe you only get one life, so you need to make it amazing!

I provide Solution-Focused Hypnotherapy (SFH), which is a modern and positive technique that focuses on where you want to be and what you want to achieve rather than dwelling on the past. I believe that you do not have to revisit your history to make the changes that you want in the future.

SFH is an evidence-based therapy which follows the latest neuroscience and can have quick results; you even may notice changes will start to happen following your first session. 

Alongside SFH, I use a variety of other techniques for helping my clients; these include Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), coaching and meditation. I have over 2000 hours of therapeutic experience in helping people to improve their mental health.


Using my qualifications and experience, I can help with a wide range of problems that are related to your mental health; these factors may be affecting your sleep or weight and limiting your achievements. This includes the following symptoms:

Session one is about getting to know you, finding out more about what you want to achieve and informing you more about my process and hypnotherapy. Hypnosis will be used to relax you during the session. I will also send you away with an MP3 to induce sleep hypnosis at night and help you relax between sessions.

Ongoing sessions will involve a conversation between you and me, in which you sit back and relax in a trance state. Trance will allow your subconscious mind to let go and make changes. Hypnosis mimics a deep dream-like state which I induce through guided visualisation and it provides a relaxing experience that can promote rapid change in your feelings and behaviours.

After a full series of sessions, you will be able to identify your strengths, move on from the past and be positive about taking on new challenges and opportunities.

50-minute hypnotherapy session = £70

Changes happen quickly with regular, weekly sessions and I would expect you to feel some benefit even after just one session. However, the average number of sessions per client is 8. I may recommend more or less sessions depending on the complexity of your needs.
